Remote Learning - Live Teaching!

1 December 2020 (by admin)

In preparation for any whole school or bubble closures, we have made the decision to use Zoom for Education as our online platform. You can find all of the information you need in relation to this on the school website letter page, letter entitled ‘1st December – Live Teaching’, or simply follow the link below.

Trial Lesson

All teachers will be offering a trial lesson on Monday 7th December at 4.15pm.  The links for these lessons will be posted on the main classwork tab (not individual class pages) of the current website by 4pm on that day. Please try your best to ensure your child joins and can test the platform. This lesson will not be recorded or posted online. If you have more than one child, and only one device, your children can link to any lesson to complete the test.

Acceptable Use and Behaviour Expectations for Live Lessons – Parents and Children

We have set some acceptable use and behaviour expectations to ensure our live lessons run smoothly. Please see the letter for further details in relation to this. It is vital that all parents read this information and communicate expectations to the children in preparation for a live lesson.

GDPR consent

In order to record lessons and post them on our school website we will need GDPR consent. Consent can be given via the Squid offers page – this offer is already live. If we do not have GDPR consent your child will not be able to take part in the live lessons.
