Reading for pleasure!
On Monday, 24th January, the author E.R. Reilly visited our school. He talked to the children about his work and gave them 'top-tips' for writing stories of their own. We were thrilled when he returned a couple of days later to sign the books the children had purchased.
Reading is a vital part of the curriculum and one of the most important skills our children learn. Listening to your child read regularly, and encouraging reading for pleasure, is one of the most important ways you can support their learning.
